Spartak Moscow officially completed transfers of two players, and they became first newcomers this winter.

22-year-old Alexis Duarte came from Paraguay, where he played for native club Cerro Porteno. He became two-time Paraguayan champion winning Apertura in 2020 and 2021. In September 2022, Duarte got first call to the national team. Defender signed a contract, which will run until 30 June 2027, and he chose four as his kit number.

21-year-old Tomas Tavares joined from Benfica Lisbon, which earlier he left for loans to Deportivo Alaves, SC Farense and FC Basel. In Switzerland defender worked with Guillermo Abascal, current Spartak head coach. The Portuguese’s contract will be valid till 30 June 2026 and has an extension option for one year. His shirt number is 20.
