Torpedo Moscow announced the arrival of Yordy Reyna to the club on contract signed for the rest of the season with one-year extension option.
29-year-old forward, born in Peru, started in motherland playing for Alianza Lima. In 2013 he left for Red Bull Salzburg, he belonged to for four years including two loans to SV Grodig and RB Leipzig. The Peruvian won two Austrian Bundesliga titles and two Austrian Cups, he scored 14 goals in 41 Bundesliga matches.
Since the beginning of 2017 Reyna had been playing in MLS for Vancouver Whitecaps, D.C. United and Charlotte FC. He scored 26 goals in 116 regular season appearances and played three times in the MLS Cup. On 17 February, Charlotte bought out his contract.
In 2013 striker started his international career for Peru national team. In 2015 he won bronze medal at Copa America. Reyna got two goals in 30 matches for Peru.
Torpedo already signed this winter with Yury Zhuravlev from Akhmat, Evgeny Shlyakov from Fakel, Ilya Kukharchuk from Khimki, Roman Yusepchuk from Shaktyor Soligorsk, Ilya Stefanovich from Volgar and Jaja from Atletico Paranaense.
