Fakel Voronezh officially presented Vadim Evseev as new head coach.
47-year-old coach joined the club with Sergey Tomarov, previously left FC Ufa school, and Vladimir Sychev, who will replace Aleksandr Chikhradze as goalkeepers coach. The day before, on 30 April, Evseev left Shinnik Yaroslavl. He had been working with the team since July 2021, and Shinnik promoted back to First League following 2021/22 season.
Evseev is third Fakel manager this season. Oleg Vasilenko, joined the club in 2020, left Fakel on 6 September, assistant Dmitry Pyatibratov took the duties on that day. On 18 September, Pyatibratov was named a full-time head coach, and he had been working until 30 April, club and coach parted ways by mutual agreement.
Evseev was a head coach for Amkar Perm and FC Ufa in his previous RPL seasons. He combined 15 wins, 23 draws and 22 defeats in 60 matches as head coach. As player Evseev won six Russian championship titles, four with Spartak Moscow and two more with Lokomotiv Moscow.
Fakel go 14th with 21 points after 25 matches. On 6 May, new Evseev team will face Rostov on away.
