Lokomotiv Moscow officially signed three-year contract with defender Ilya Samoshnikov.

25-year-old player became first new signing for Railwaymen in offseason, he joined as free agent. Since 2020 Samoshnikov had been playing for Rubin Kazan, he also represented Ararat Moscow, Shinnik and Torpedo at pro level.

Defender played 54 matches and scored three goals in previous RPL season with Rubin. Samoshnikov won First League with Kazan in 2022/23 season.
