FC Orenburg officially signed Jiri Jarosik as new head coach.
45-year-old Czech replaced fellow national Marcel Licka, who moved to Dynamo Moscow to become their head coach. Licka had been working with Orenburg since August 2020; under him team earned promotion to RPL and tied their best result in top division finishing seventh in 2022/23 season.
Jarosik spent four seasons in RPL as player in total; he played two years both for CSKA and Krylia Sovetov. As the Armyman midfielder became Russian champion in 2003 and Super Cup winner in 2004. Jarosik made 103 appearances in RPL scoring 16 goals.
The Czech started coaching career in 2017 working in Sparta Prague U-21 staff. As assistant coach Jarosik also joined Slovan Liberec and Ruzomberok. First team to serve as head coach was Usti and Labem, then Jarosik coached Celje in Slovenia, SK Prostejov and Teplice in Czechia.
