FC Sochi officially signed defender Marcelo Alves on loan; the deal also has priority buy-out option for Russian side.

Alves joined Sochi after playing for Tondela in Portugal since January 2022. Brazilian made nine appearances in Primeira Liga and relegated with his side to Liga Portugal 2, while in the past season he had 31 matches played and four goals scored in second Portuguese tier.

25-year-old player’s transfer is belonged to Madureira, he is a graduate of the Brazilian club. This will be fourth loan for Alves to pro level club after being sent to Vasco da Gama, EC Vitoria and Tondela.
