Fakel sign Aleksandr Belenov

Fakel Voronezh officially announced signing of 36-year-old goalkeeper Aleksandr Belenov.

Keeper joined Fakel from Rubin Kazan, where he spent one season. Belenov won First League with the team, despite he had only three games played in the tournament; he also participated in one Russian Cup match.

Fakel is fifth RPL club for goalkeeper in the league. Belenov previously played for Spartak Moscow, Kuban Krasnodar, Anzhi Makhachkala and FC Ufa. He has 312 matches played and 100 clean sheets in total.

Belenov is third new signing for Voronezh club during off-season; he joined Vitaly Gudiev and Aleksandr Dolgov, recently moved from FC Khimki. Fakel also bought out Vyacheslav Yakimov from FC Krasnodar.
