Fakel Voronezh officially signed a contract with Croatian defender Antonio Jakolis.
31-year-old player came to seventh country in his career. Jakolis has experience of playing in Croatia (Sibenik, Hajduk, Zadar), Ukraine (Dnipro, Kryvbas), Belgium (Mouscron), Romania (CFR Cluj, FCSB, Arges), Cyprus (Apollon Limassol, APOEL), and Greece (Panetolikos).
Jakolis is Cypriot First Division champion with APOEL (2018/19), winner of national Cups with Hajduk in Croatia (2012/13) and CFR Cluj in Romania (2015/16). At international level defender played for youth Croatian national teams; he participated at U-20 World Cup in 2011.
Fakel signed six new players during summer transfer window, these are also goalkeepers Aleksandr Belenov and Vitaly Gudiev, defender Fedor Kudryashov, midfielder Nikita Motpan, and forward Aleksandr Dolgov. Club also bought out Vyacheslav Yakimov from Krasnodar.
