Dynamo Moscow held official presentation of two new signings, the Mexican Luis Chavez, and the Colombian Jorge Carrascal.
Both players signed with the club contracts, which will be running until summer 2027, and the agreements have extension option for one year.
25-year-old Chavez is the first Mexican player in RPL history. Midfielder spent whole career in motherland playing for Tijuana and Pachuca. In 2022 Chavez became Apertura winner in Liga MX. With Mexico national team player participated in 2022 FIFA World Cup, and in 2023 he won CONCACAF Gold Cup. In total Chavez scored three goals in 24 matches for El Tri.
27-year-old Carrascal came to Russia in February 2022 and signed with CSKA, before this trip he played for Millonarios in Colombia, Sevilla Atletico in Spain, Karpaty in Ukraine, and River Plate in Argentina. CSKA loaned player from River Plate, and in May 2022 the Armymen bought him out and signed four-year contract. In 2022/23 season Carrascal won RPL silver medal and Russian Cup. In RPL midfielder played 37 matches and scored seven goals.
