Vadim Evseev leaves Fakel

Fakel Voronezh officially announced departure of head coach Vadim Evseev.

Six-time Russian champion and former national team defender worked with third RPL team as head coach, he previously coached Amkar Perm and FC Ufa. Evseev joined Fakel on 1 May after leaving Shinnik Yaroslavl; under him Voronezh escaped from relegation finishing 14th and winning play-off matches against FC Enisey.

After seven matches in 2023/24 RPL season Fakel have four points going 15th in the standings. Overall, Evseev spent 12 matches with team in the league getting four wins, one draw and seven defeats.

Next match in RPL Fakel will play against Ural in Ekaterinburg on Sunday 17 September.
