Sochi replace Dmitry Khokhlov with Aleksandr Tochilin

FC Sochi released a statement on head coach following the 0-1 defeat from Spartak.

Club agreed to part ways with Dmitry Khokhlov and appointed Aleksandr Tochilin as head coach again.

Khokhlov joined Sochi as an assistant coach to Kurban Berdyev in January, and on 10 April he became head coach after Berdyev departure. Under Khokhlov Sochi finished 2022/23 RPL season as tenth, while in the current season they got two wins and six defeats in eight league matches.

It is the third time, when Tochilin took position of head coach officially. He became first coach in Sochi history in 2018 and had been working until November 2019. Tochilin came back to the club in summer 2022 and was registered as head coach, he kept the position until January.

Upcoming fixtures for Sochi will be against CSKA in Russian Cup RPL Path Group Stage on 20 September in Moscow and against Krylia Sovetov in RPL Week 9 on 23 September in Samara.
