Spartak sign Manfred Ugalde from Twente

Spartak Moscow agreed transfer of Twente forward Manfred Ugalde, who signed four-and-half-year contract with RPL side.

In native Costa Rica player started at pro level with Deportivo Saprissa in 2019, he won Primera Division Clausura in 2020 and moved to Europe for Belgium club Lommel. Next summer, Ugalde was loaned to Twente, and two years after Dutch club bought him out. Forward had 84 matches and 22 goals for Twente in all competitions. On 1 February 2020, Ugalde made debut for Costa Rica national team in friendly match against USA; after six appearances he has one goal at international level.
