Aleksey Ionov becomes Ural player

Ural Ekaterinburg officially announced signing 35-year-old midfielder Aleksey Ionov.

Since 12 December player was a free agent, as he parted ways with Rostov after half of season. Before winter break Ionov played 14 matches in RPL for Rostov and marked with one assist.

Ural became eighth top division club for midfielder, he represented Zenit, Kuban, Anzhi, Dynamo, CSKA, Rostov and Krasnodar earlier. Ionov appeared in 358 RPL matches and scored 58 goals; he was 2010 season champion with Zenit.
