Krasnodar sack Vladimir Ivic

FC Krasnodar made a statement on terminating contract with head coach Vladimir Ivic.

The Serbian was hired in January 2023 on two-year contract. With him Krasnodar reached Russian Cup superfinal in the end of 2022/23 season, and this RPL season the Bulls for the first time finished first half as the leaders. Ivic was named Coach of the Month in July-August and September. Totally Krasnodar played 33 matches in RPL under the Serbian and made 17 wins, 11 draws and 5 losses.

Krasnodar resumed the season making one point in two league matches (1-1 vs Rubin, 1-2 vs Rostov) and being eliminated from Russian Cup Regions Path playoffs (0-2 vs Khimki). In the RPL standings the Bulls moved down to second one point behind Zenit. Team will play next match against Lokomotiv in Moscow in the final weekend of March.
