Zenit St. Petersburg and head coach Sergey Semak officially signed five-year extension after team beat Rostov in Week 30 fixture to win sixth straight RPL title.
Now Semak’s contract will be active until the end of 2029/30 season. Assistant coaches in Semak staff also extended their agreements. The special ceremony of signing contract was held at Gazprom Arena.
Zenit appointed Semak as head coach in May 2018, since that the Blue-White-Sky Blues had become champions in every RPL season also winning 2019/20 Russian Cup and four Super Cups.
