FC Sochi announced signing extension with head coach Robert Moreno for three years, until the end of 2026/27 season.

46-year-old manager from Spain joined Sochi in December 2023, when team was bottom of RPL standings. In 12 matches with Moreno the Southerns earned 13 points but could not escape from direct relegation zone. Sochi is third club for Moreno to work as head coach after Monaco and Granada.
