Artem Dzyuba leaves Lokomotiv as free agent

Lokomotiv Moscow and forward Artem Dzyuba officially parted ways, as both sides will not extend the expiring contract.

Dzyuba joined the Railwaymen in February 2023; firstly, his contract was active for the rest of 2022/23 season, then the deal was re-signed for one year with extension option. Forward scored 12 goals in 32 RPL matches, during spring 2023 he received the league awards for being Player of the Month in March and scoring Goal of the Month in April.

35-year-old player is four-time Russian champion and all time Russian top division best scorer with 160 goals. Before playing for Lokomotiv Dzyuba had been representing Spartak Moscow, Tom Tomsk, FC Rostov, Zenit St. Petersburg and Arsenal Tula.
