Mohamed Konate leaves Akhmat

Akhmat Grozny announced the departure of striker Mohamed Konate due to player’s decision not to extend his expiring contract.

Konate signed with Akhmat as free agent in 2021. In three seasons 26-year-old scored 30 goals for Grozny in RPL and became club’s top scorer in the top division.

Konate is third player to leave Akhmat this summer; previously Akhmat announced parting ways with Andrey Semenov and Vladimir Ilyin.
