Yury Gorshkov joins Zenit

Zenit St. Petersburg and Krylia Sovetov Samara officially agreed the transfer of defender Yury Gorshkov.

Krylia noted, 25-year-old player moved through buy-out option, while Zenit announced signing Gorshkov on “3+1” contract.

Defender joined Krylia from Chertanovo in 2020; in first Samara season he earned RPL promotion and reached Russian Cup final. In RPL Gorshkov marked with six goals in 82 matches for Krylia.

Gorhskov became third Zenit newcomer this summer, he joined Evgeny Latyshonok, signed from Baltika, and Maksim Glushenkov, came from Lokomotiv.
