CSKA complete signing Sekou Koita

CSKA Moscow officially announced signing of striker Sekou Koita.

24-year-old player from Mali joined the Armymen on three-year contract, which will expire in June 2027. Forward chose 20 as his kit number.

Koita played in Mali for Bakaridjan and Kita before moving to Austria in 2018. Striker joined Red Bull Salzburg, but firstly played for second team Lifering and spent first half of 2019 in Wolfsberger AC on loan. The Malian made 106 total appearances for Salzburg scoring 43 goals and winning four Bundesliga titles. In Mali national team Koita made debut at age of 16 in 2016, he has four goals after playing 27 matches.

Koita is third signing for CSKA this summer following Danil Krugovoy and Artem Shumansky.
