CSKA Moscow and attacking midfielder Rifat Zhemaletdinov officially signed contract for 2024/25 season, which can be extended for one more season.
27-year-old player joined the Armymen training camp on 27 June after he departed from Lokomotiv as free agent. Zhemaletdinov was involved in all friendly matches against Shinnik, OFK Beograd and Partizan.
Midfielder’s career in Lokomotiv divided into parts: firstly, he was in club’s system since 2003 to 2016, then he came back in 2018. Zhemaletdinov also spent two years with Rubin Kazan. In RPL player has 24 goals after 162 matches. As Lokomotiv part Zhemaletdinov won two Russian Cups and one Super Cup.
Zhemaletdinov is fourth signing for CSKA this summer. Previously the Armymen were joined by Danil Krugovoy, Artem Shumansky and Sekou Koita.
