Aleksandr Sobolev joins Zenit from Spartak

Zenit St. Petersburg and Spartak Moscow officially agreed the transfer of striker Aleksandr Sobolev.

27-year-old player joined Zenit on three-year contract, which has option to extend for one more year. Sobolev left Spartak after four-and-half years passed since his move from Krylia Sovetov in 2020. Forward scored 58 goals in 140 matches for the Red-Whites in all competitions; he became Russian Cup winner in 2021/22 season getting a goal in the final.

Before joining Spartak Sobolev played for Tom Tomsk, Krylia Sovetov Samara and Enisey Krasnoyarsk. In RPL forward got 60 goals after 166 matches played.
