Spartak, Willian Jose to terminate contract

Spartak Moscow and striker Willian Jose reached an agreement to part ways.

33-year-old player was signed by the Red-Whites in July 2024 for two years. Jose never made goals or assists in RPL, where he appeared seven times during the first part of 2024/25 season, but marked with the winning free kick goal in the Russian Cup derby against Dynamo Moscow (overall had six matches in the Cup competition).

Before Spartak the forward played for Gremio Barueri, Sao Paolo, Gremio, Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, Las Palmas, Real Sociedad, Wolverhampton & Real Betis.
