Claudinho joins Al Sadd from Zenit

Zenit St. Petersburg made an official agreement on transfer of midfielder Claudinho to Qatari club Al Sadd.

27-year-old player left Russia after spending three and half seasons here. Claudinho came to Zenit from Brazilian Red Bull Bragantino in August 2021 and won three RPL titles, three Super Cups and Russian Cup. Following his debut season in RPL the Brazilian was awarded as best player of the league. In RPL Claudinho scored 17 goals in 93 matches. During his play for Zenit the Brazilian was given the Russian citizenship in February 2023.
