On May 15 a meeting of the European Association of the Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) Board of Directors took place in Amsterdam. President of the Russian Football Premier-League Sergey Pryadkin participated in the meeting. Agenda included issues regarding interaction with UEFA such as activities of a joint working group of UEFA, EPFL and ECA (European Club Association) in different aspects of professional football.

Number of organizational decisions was taken. As the President of Association Sir David Richards left his post and also a post of the EPL President, the EPFL Vice President and the President of the French League Frederic Thiriez was appointed acting as the EPFL President. In his turn Frank Rutten representing the football league of Netherlands became the Vice President of the Association temporally. The Board of Directors thanked Sir David Richards who stood at the origins of the Association and significantly contributed to development of professional football in Europe for his work.

Changes in the Board of Directors were also made. Secretary General of the Spanish League Carlos Del Campo and Bundesliga Chief Executive Christian Seifert replaced their colleagues the President of the Spanish League José  Astiazarán and Bundesliga representative Holger Hieronymus.

Elections of a new President of the Association will be held in October 2013 during the General Assembly.
