On Friday, May 24, a coach staff of the Russian National Team led by Fabio Capello defined a list of players who will be called to train for a World Cup-2014 qualifying game against Portugal. The game will take place at Estadio da Luz stadium in Lisbon on June 7 and start at 23:45 (Moscow time).

The list includes 27 football players but changes are possible to occur after a final match of the Cup of Russia. 

Goalkeepers: Igor Akinfeev (CSKA), Vladimir Gabulov (Anji), Sergey Ryzhikov (Rubin).

Defenders: Aleksander Anyukov (Zenit), Aleksey Berezutsky, Vasily Berezutsky, Sergey Ignashevich, Kirill Nababkin (all - CSKA), Vladimir Granat (Dynamo M), Aleksey Kozlov (Kuban), Dmitry Kombarov, Evgeny Makeev (both - Spartak M).

Midfielder: Igor Denisov, Viktor Fayzulin, Roman Shirokov (all - Zenit), Denis Glushakov, Dmitry Tarasov (both - Lokomotiv), Aleksander Ryazantsev (Rubin).

Forwards: Vladimir Bystrov, Aleksander Kerzhakov (both - Zenit), Alan Dzagoev (CSKA), Artem Dzyuba (Spartak M), Yury Zhirkov, Oleg Shatov (both – Anji), Aleksey Ionov (Kuban), Aleksander Kokorin (Dynamo M), Aleksander Samedov (Lokomotiv).
