National Team of Russia under the guidance of Fabio Capello played a friendly  match against Azerbaijan team.

The match played at Arena Khimki ended with winning of the Russian team - 4:0. 

Alexander Kerzhakov scored two goals in the first half, the third goal was scored by Sergey Ignashevich. Vladimir Granat fixed the final score of the match in the second half.

Forward Alexander Kerzhakov achieved an absolute record of goals for the National Team of Russia, having scored a goal in the friendly match against Azerbaijan. He scored in the 6^th minute of the match, six minutes later the forward scored the second goal. Now Zenit forward scored 28 goals.
