PFC CSKA played against Bayern in Munich in the final match of UEFA Champions League Group Stage.

The match ended with win of the German club – 3:0.

The goals were scored by Müller, Rode and Götze.

In the other match of this group Roma lost to Manchester City - 0:2 and as a result PFC CSKA got only fourth place and finished its participation in European Cups.

Goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev set a new record of CSKA Moscow with relation to the official matches played for the team. The match against Bayern was 427^th game for the Army club for 28-year old Akinfeev. Now Akinfeev is ahead of forward  Vladimir Fedotov /426 matches/, who played for the Army club in the period between 1960 and 1975.
