Russian Football Premier League would like to congratulate veteran of the Russian football, Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, Vladimir Ponomarev on his 75-anniversary.

Vladimir Ponomarev grew in a football family. His father Alexey was a forward of Dynamo Moscow. His son also started his football career in Dynamo Academy.

Vladimir Ponomarev dedicated the biggest part of his playing career to CSKA, for which he played 113 official matches. He also played 25 matches for the national team of the USSR and got the 4^th place at FIFA World Cup in England in 1966 with this team.

We congratulate Vladimir Ponomarev and from the bottoms of our hearts we wish him a lot of health, long and happy life, as well as a lot of luck and happiness to him and his family! Happy Anniversary!
