Russian Football Premier League would like to congratulate the veteran of the Russian football, Olympic Champion of Melburn, Alexey Paramonov on his 90-Anniversary!
Alexey Paramonov is a Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, Great Patriotic War veteran, Meritorious Physical Culture and Sports Worker, Safety, Security and Defense Academy Member, Honorary Citizen of Borovsk town in Kaluga Region where he was born.
Alexey Paramonov played 13 seasons for Spartak Moscow between 1947 and 1959, he participated in 302 matches and scored 73 goals, became the USSR Champion four times, and Cup of the USSR holder twice. With the National Team of the USSR Alexey Paramonov won golden medals of the Olympic Games of 1956. In 1959 he finished his playing career and became a coach. Since 1996 and up to now Alexey Paramonov is the Chairman of the FUR Veterans Committee.
