On Wednesday, 22 November, PFC CSKA played its return match against Benfica in UEFA Champions League group stage MD 5. The game ended 2:0.

PFC CSKA was quite confident in the beginning of the match and 13 minutes after the kick-off whistle Georgy Schennikov scored the opener. The next goal was an own goal by Jardel with assist of Vitinho. This game ended with another win of PFC CSKA.

In UCL wrap-up group stage MD 6 PFC CSKA is going to play against Manchester United. The game will be played on 5 December, and the Army team will be left without support of Pontus Wernbloom and Natcho Bibars due to repeated yellow cards.
