In UEFA Champions League group stage MD 5 Lokomotiv hosted Galatasaray. The reigning Champion of Russia had its first win in the current tournament – 2:0.

Ryan Donk scored an own goal in the first half, and after the halftime Vladislav Ignatyev fixed the final score.

Due to this win Lokomotiv still has chances to get the 3^rd position in the group which gives the right to play in UEFA Europa League. In order to do that it has to beat Schalke-04 away, and the Turkish club has to beat Porty at home on 11 December.
