On 5 December six Premier League clubs had their first leg matches of Olimp Cup of Russia quarter-final.

Lokomotiv 1:0 Rubin

The only goal in this Cup of Russia match was scored by Vedran Corluka in the 54^th minute.

Spartak 1:1 Ural

Sofiane Hanni made a well-placed shot at the first minutes of the second half. The visiting team managed to equalize in the 67^th minute, Vladimir Ilyin scored with his head.

Krasnodar 2:2 Rostov

The score was opened by Krasnodar trainee Ivan Ignatyev. Then Christian Cueva scored his first goal for Krasnodar team. Dmitry  Skopintsev also scored his first goal for the main squad of Rostov. Alexandru Gaţcan saved his team from defeat.

The return leg quarter-final matches will be played at the end of February next year. Exact match dates will be announced at a later date.
