On Thursday 6 February, the Russian Premier League office hosted a meeting of the Russian Football Union’s Professional Football Committee. It made the following decisions:
* Take note of the Committee's report for 2019 and approve the work plan for 2020.
* Support the project to reform youth competitions (under-17 & under-18) and reform the structure of the Russian Cup for the 2020-21 season.
* Support the project to reform the Russian Youth Championship in the 2020-21 season. The RPL, FNL and PFL are to study the possibility of including no more than two players, without restrictions on age and citizenship, in matchday squads.
* Invite the RFU Executive Committee to consider the reform of the Youth League (under-17 & under-18) at the next meeting.
* Invite the RFU Executive Committee to consider the reform of the Russian Youth Championship in the 2020-21 season at the next meeting.
* Invite the RFU Executive Committee to consider the project of reforming the structure of the Russian Cup for the 2020-21 season at the next meeting.
* Recommend that the PFL Association, together with the PFL clubs, further consider possible options for the structure of the Professional Football League championship from the 2020-21 season.
* Create a working group to study the possibility of signing collective agreements and social partnership agreements between the subjects of professional football.
