FC Ufa drew a blank for the fourth time in five games as they played out a goalless draw at home to Rubin Kazan. The closest either side came to a breakthrough was Danil Fomin’s direct free kick seven minutes from time that Yuriy Dyupin tipped wide.

Ufa and Rubin have collected the most draws in the RPL this season with 11 and nine respectively. Aleksandr Belenov extended his lead for goalkeepers with clean sheets after his 13th shutout of the season.

FC Ufa welcome Ural Ekaterinburg next up on Sunday 5 July, while Rubin Kazan host FC Orenburg on the same day.
