2019/20 RPL Champions and Russian Cup winners Zenit St. Petersburg will meet RPL runners-up Lokomotiv Moscow in 2020 Russian Super Cup.

Railwaymen will take part in the match due to Zenit’s victory against FC Khimki in Russian Cup final. The match is fixtured on 7 August at VEB Arena in Moscow.

Both teams played for the trophy at VTB Arena in Moscow in 2019, and Moscow side won the match 3-2. Sardar Azmoun and Aleksey Miranchuk both made doubles, one more goal for Lokomotiv was scored by Fedor Smolov.

Zenit are four-time winners of Super Cup, while Lokomotiv are three-time winners. Record-holder are CSKA Moscow with seven titles.
