The Railwaymen were close to earn a point against current Champions League title-holder, but Joshua Kimmich’s shot lead Bayern Munich to the win at RZD Arena. The visitors took the lead after 13 minutes thanks to the Leon Goretzka header from the one-touch cross by Benjamin Pavard. Lokomotiv equalised 20 minutes before the final whistle when Anton Miranchuk scored after Ze Luis pass.

The Capo Verde striker was close to bring the lead to Loko, but missed the net, and later Joshua Kimmich scored the game-winner outside the penalty box.

Lokomotiv remain with one point, while Bayern top the group A on six points.
