Starting from matchday 13, a new colour ball will be used in Russian Premier Liga matches.

Teams will play with a Nike Flight ball, made in bright yellow with orange and blue inserts. These colours allow the ball to stand out in artificial and limited natural light during the autumn and winter period.

Matchday 13 in the RPL starts on Saturday 31 October. Rubin Kazan vs Arsenal Tula will be the first match to be played with the new ball.

To play in snowy weather, Nike provided RPL clubs with red balls.

After increasing daylight hours in April 2021, the RPL will return to using white balls.
