After 17 goals in their previous two meetings, Rostov held high-flying Sochi to a goalless draw at home. Nikita Burmistrov was sent off deep into added time, but too late to affect the outcome. 

The hosts move to within a point of Spartak Moscow and the Europa Conference League places, while Sochi pick up only their second point - and first clean sheet - in six away games. 

Rostov stay fifth on 34 points, while Sochi remain third on 37 points.
