CSKA coasted to a comfortable win after a dominant home win over Rotor Volgograd thanks to Chidera Ejuke’s electric performance. The Nigerian winger was at the heart of most effective attacks for the Armymen, and got his just rewards right at the end of the first half when his shot squeezed past Josip Condric.

After the break he was central to a devastating counter-attack that spread from CSKA’s own penalty area up the other end, where Salomon Rondon was on hand to finish a beautiful team goal.

CSKA go fourth on 46 points, while Rotor remain 14thon 18 points.
