A swift counter attack involving former CSKA forward Timur Zhamaletdinov found Filip Mrzljak lurking just inside the area; the Croatian midfielder hit a spectacular first-time shot that crept in off the post.

Fedor Chalov then came off the bench to draw CSKA level a few moments later with a scrappy tap-in, but Ufa held out to claim a precious point in their relegation battle. 

CSKA stay fifth on 47 points, while Ufa remain 15th in the automatic drop zone on 21 points.
