Lokomotiv stumbled back into the top two following a goalless draw against Dynamo, but lost the initiative to Spartak in the Champions League race. 

Igor Leshchuk pulled off some stunning saves - most notably from Ze Luis at point blank range in the second half - to help his side to a share of the points. 

Ivan Ordets had been sent off moments before Ze Luis' header that Leshchuk tipped onto the bar, but his teammates held out. 

Lokomotiv return to the Champions League places on 53 points, while Dynamo remain seventh on 47 points.
