Rubin midfielder Denis Makarov was named as scorer of the RPL Goal of the Season.

The 23-year-old midfielder scored this goal on 8 March in the matchday 21 fixture against Zenit. In stoppage time, the midfielder dribbled from the halfway line, turning two defenders inside out, a perfect pin-point finish secured a 2-1 win for Rubin.

Last season, Makarov played 28 RPL matches and scored seven goals.

The most beautiful goal of the season was determined by RPL and MATCH PremierTV channel experts. The eight best goals selected at the end of each month participated in the voting, and three more were selected additionally by the league experts.
