CSKA lost their second Moscow derby in as many weeks after a second half double from Daniil Fomin. Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke scored a brilliant solo goal just eight minutes in, but the game took a u-turn when Dynamo were awarded a penalty at the hour mark. Midfielder Fomin scored his third penalty in two games, and followed it up with a simple tap in 15 minutes later. 

A stroke of luck, consistent pressure and a never-say-die attitude turned out to be Dynamo’s recipe for victory. Sandro Schwarz’s men have won all three of their games thus far, and are joint top of the table.
