Igor Shalimov was denied a victorious start to his Ural reign by a dominant Spartak display. Roman Zobnin earned the breakthrough midway through the first half, and although Ural dug in and made life tough after the break, Rui Vitoria earned his second RPL win. 

Spartak climb back up to seventh place on five points, while Ural remain 15th on one point.
