After four games without a win, Rostov finally managed to get three points away at Nizhny Novgorod. It took just three minutes for them to go behind, an unfortunate own goal from Maksim Osipenko was their undoing. Japanese stalwart Kento Hashimoto levelled things up towards the end of the first half, scoring from a deflected effort. A tough battle ensued, but Rostov managed to score in the dying minutes thanks to an own goal from Masoero. 

Rostov are still in the outskirts of the relegation zone, whereas Nizhny Novgorod have slipped up after a strong start to the season.
