As has become customary, Spartak managed to fumble another lead, this time against FC Sochi. Roman Zobnin scored from a set piece at the hour mark, but substitute Maksim Barsov equalised just six minutes later. Artur Yusupov scored an easy goal soon after, and sealed the three points for Sochi. 

Spartak’s crisis continues to deepen, they’ve won just two of their first six games of the season. Sochi are temporarily on top of the league.
