On Thursday, 19 May, a General Meeting of the Russian Premier Liga clubs took place in the league office.

At the meeting, among other topics, the format and structure of the championship in the 2022/23 season, as well as the possibility of holding other competitions, were discussed.

As a result, it was decided to create a working group to organize the RPL Cup. In addition, the executive director of the RPL Sergey Cheban was chosen as a league delegate to participate in the Russian Football Union conference.

The rest of the agenda items will be further considered at the next meeting.

The final RPL General Meeting is scheduled for 30 May.
