20-year-old Rostov midfielder Kirill Schetinin won the Best Goal of the Season award.

Player got a win with his great goal against Lokomotiv in matchday 24. Schetinin broke the deadlock with his long shot, and it led Rostov to a home 4-1 win. This goal became the best of the month in April. In total Schetinin played 12 games and scored two times in RPL, he also represented the club in junior M-Liga scoring five goals in nine appearances to help the U-19 side to win silver medals.

The winner was chosen by RPL and main broadcaster MATCH PREMIER experts. Ten goals made the short list, as seven were the Goal of the Month award winners, while other three were added by RPL experts.

Previously Goal of the Season award was won by Djordje Despotovic (2019/20, Akhmat vs Orenburg) and Denis Makarov (2020/21, Rubin vs Zenit).
