Teams came to Moscow Derby after dealing with winless streaks in RPL, as Lokomotiv beat Torpedo after five-game losing series, while Dynamo cut off four-game streak defeating Orenburg. The Railwaymen started furious, Francois Kamano scored the header, when 27 seconds passed from the kick-off. Dynamo answered from penalty, and Fedor Smolov took it to score 100th goal in the RPL becoming third player with same achievement.

Second half brought more set pieces for the White-Blues, and Arsen Zakharyan’s free kick reached the net through the ricochet and gave his team the lead. Also, young leader ended scoreless streak in RPL, the last time he scored was derby against Torpedo. Another game and another useful substitution worked on for Dynamo, Konstantin Tyukavin earned a penalty for his team, and Daniil Fomin’s goal became historical too, as he tied Georgi Peev’s record on successful takes without misses scoring 17 of 17 attempts.

Dynamo move to sixth on 23 points and wait for Sochi and Akhmat fixtures, while Lokomotiv drop to 14th with 12 points after Fakel made draw with Rostov.

Next RPL fixtures: Saturday 29 October – Dynamo vs Khimki, Lokomotiv vs CSKA
